Pakistan spinner Imad Wasim has admitted that the national team will have to bowl a lot better if they want to enjoy a strong World Cup campaign.

Imad’s comments come after Pakistan’s dismal bowling performances in the ongoing ODI series against England.

Pakistan let England score 373/3 in the second ODI, failed to defend 358 in the third ODI and also couldn’t defend 340 in the fourth match on Friday.

“In the same way in our bowling, we will have to do better if are going to do well in the World Cup,” Imad was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

After the ongoing five-match ODI series against England, Pakistan will play two World Cup warm-up games against Afghanistan and Bangladesh in Bristol and Cardiff on May 24 and 26 respectively.

They will then begin their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
