Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman believes that his side will fare well at the World Cup since they have done a lot of preparation.

In addition to this, he noted that the ongoing five-match ODI series against England will help his side get accustomed to the conditions.

It should also be noted that Pakistan have not won the World Cup since 1992, where the country’s current Prime Minister Imran Khan led the team to victory.

“We are really excited for the event because it is such a big occasion,” he was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk. “Our preparations are also heading in the right direction.

Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
