Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur has admitted that his side are lacking a quality finisher going into the World Cup later this year.

Arthur’s comments come after his side were whitewashed 5-0 in their ODI series against Australia in the United Arab Emirates.

However, Arthur noted that he has his eyes on three players who can fill the role, and will use the upcoming limited overs tour of England at the beginning of next month as a test to see which one of them really excel.

“That’s one thing we aren’t blessed with,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “I’ve got my eye on three players we need to work on to perform that role.

“The England tour will be like a training camp for us and we’re going to be working on these things in that time, we’ve got to get those three guys up to speed.”
