Pakistan left-arm seamer Sohail Tanvir has pointed out that he respected Mohammad Hasnain’s eagerness to seek advice and develop his game during the recently concluded edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Tanvir played alongside Hasnain for the Quetta Gladiators, who went on to win their first ever PSL title earlier this month.
Hasnain was one of the standout young stars in the tournament as he took 12 wickets in seven games at an average of 17.58.
With the 18-year-old also clocking speeds of up to 150km/h, he was drafted into Pakistan’s squad for the five-match ODI series against Australia, where he is likely to make his international debut.
“I really do admire his attitude as he is always smiling and doesn’t jump up and down when he takes a wicket,” Tanvir told PakPassion. “He was also eager to learn and was always asking for advice from DJ Bravo and myself and we were both very happy to share our experience with him.
“All of us at Quetta Gladiators found Hasnain to be a humble lad and someone who had his feet firmly on the ground at all times which speaks volumes about his character.”
