Guyana Amazon Warriors pace bowler Sohail Tanvir has been fined 15 percent of his match fee for putting up the middle finger on both hands after dismissing St Kitts and Nevis Patriots batsman Ben Cutting.
The incident occurred in the 17th over of the Patriots’ innings. Prior to removing Cutting with a yorker that crashed into middle stump, Tanvir was hit for a six.
Upon taking out Cutting, Tanvir made the vulgar gesture.

Since he accepted the sanction imposed on him by match referee Denavon Hayles, there will be no need for a formal hearing.
Tanvir finished with figures of 1-24 off his four overs, and the Patriots were restricted to 146/5. The Amazon Warriors easily chased down the score and won the match by six wickets.
