Misbah-ul-Haq: Virat Kohli “will break some more records in the future”

Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq is confident that India captain Virat Kohli will continue rewriting the record books as his career progresses.

Kohli is already second on the list of players with the most ODI hundreds, and most recently, he scored his first Test century in England in the first Test at Edgbaston.

While he followed it up with a excellent 51 in the second innings, England proceeded to win the thrilling match by 31 runs.

Despite Kohli’s efforts going in vain, Misbah lauded the 29-year-old for excelling with the bat in all three formats of the game.

“I feel that Virat Kohli is a wonderful player and I do not think that there is anyone who can argue with that,” he told PakPassion. “He performs equally well in all three formats of the game and his batting talent is complemented by his attitude and approach to the game which is second to none.

“He seems to enjoy his game and is a top batsman at the international level who has already achieved so much but rest assured, he will break some more records in the future too.”
