Colin Munro smashed a game-winning 57 not out as the Trinbago Knight Riders crushed the Guyana Amazon Warriors by six wickets and advanced to the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) final.
The Knight Riders now have a chance at redemption as they will once again face the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, who beat them in the first qualifier to book their spot in the final.
Choosing to bowl first, the Knight Riders took out Amazon Warriors opener Sohail Tanvir early on as he was trapped lbw off the bowling of Sunil Narine for eight runs.
Luke Ronchi and Chadwick Walton made up for the loss of Tanvir with a 47-run partnership before Ronchi was clean bowled by Knight Riders captain Dwayne Bravo for 23.
Walton went on to make a 31-ball 37 before he was stumped by Denesh Ramdin off the bowling of Narine.
Jason Mohammed fell shortly after, but Gajanand Singh and Roshon Primus stabilised the innings with a 67-run partnership before Gajanand was cleaned up by Ronsford Beaton for 39, which came off 25 balls and included a boundary and three sixes.

Beaton and Narine picked up two wickets apiece, while Bravo and Javon Scantlebury-Searles chipped in with one wicket apiece.
Chasing 160 to win, the Knight Riders got off to the worst possible start as Narine was given out lbw off the bowling of Tanvir on the first ball of the innings.

Hamza Tariq only made 10 runs before he was caught behind off the bowling of Amazon Warriors captain Rayad Emrit.
Munro and Darren Bravo steadied things with an 85-run stand, during which Munro brought up his half-century, before Bravo was caught by Walton at long-off off the bowling of Veerasammy Permaul for 43, which came off 27 balls and included two boundaries and four sixes.

Even though Dwayne Bravo only mustered 11 runs before returning to the pavilion, the Knight Riders got across the finish line with two overs to spare.
Tanvir, Emrit, Permaul and Rashid Khan claimed one wicket each.
