The Delhi Daredevils were humiliated by the Kings XI Punjab as they were bundled out for a dismal 67 in their 10-wicket loss.

Sandeep Sharma inflicted the most damage with the ball as he took four wickets, while opening batsman Martin Guptill used the opportunity to free his arms as he hammered an unbeaten 27-ball 50.

Choosing to bowl first, the Kings XI came out all guns blazing as Sandeep had Sam Billings caught behind for a duck on the sixth ball of the match.

He went on to take out Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer before receiving support from the rest of the bowling attack.

With wickets falling at a consistent rate, only three batsmen – stand-in captain Karun Nair, Corey Anderson and Kagiso Rabada – were able to reach double figures.

Since the rest of the batting line-up failed to do any damage, the Daredevils were skittled out for an embarrassing 67.

Sandeep was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets, while Axar Patel and Varun Aaron snapped up two wickets apiece. Mohit Sharma and captain Glenn Maxwell, meanwhile, chipped in with one wicket each.

Chasing a straightforward target of 68 to win, Guptill and Hashim Amla finished things single-handedly as they needed just 7.5 overs to put together an unbeaten 68-run partnership, during which Guptill brought up his fifty.

Guptill ended up making 50 off 27 balls, which included six boundaries and three sixes, while Amla remained undefeated on 16 off 20 deliveries, which included one boundary.
