Bangladesh batsman Liton Das has been recalled for the one-off Test match against India on February 9 in Hyderabad.

Liton has not played Test cricket since August 2015, but his inclusion in the squad is largely due to the 219 he made for East Zone against Central Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League last month.

Meanwhile, captain Mushfiqur Rahim, batsman Mominul Haque and opener Imrul Kayes, who all missed the second Test against New Zealand due to injury, returned to the team.

Pace bowler Shafiul Islam also made the cut, but there was no place in the side for Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mustafizur Rahman, Nurul Hasan and Rubel Hossain.

Left-arm seamer Mustafizur was supposed to make his Test comeback during the tour of New Zealand, but was ruled out of the two-Test series due to a hamstring injury.

“Although he (Mustafizur) doesn’t have any problem medically, he still needs to work on his skill fitness,” Bangladesh’s chairman of selectors Minhajul Abedin said.

Bangladesh Test Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim (capt), Tamim Iqbal, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehedi Hasan, Taijul Islam, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Soumya Sarkar, Taskin Ahmed, Subashis Roy, Imrul Kayes, Liton Das, Mominul Haque, Shafiul Islam.
