The Rising Pune Supergiants have acquired the services of batsman Mayank Agarwal from the Delhi Daredevils in the second Indian Premier League (IPL) trading window, which runs from January 13 to 20.

Agarwal, who is the first player to be traded ahead of the upcoming installment of the star-studded tournament, began his IPL career with the Royal Challengers Bangalore and was with the franchise from 2011 to 2013 before being signed up by the Daredevils.

He spent three seasons with the Daredevils and in that time accumulated 355 runs at an average of 17.75.

Last season though, the 25-year-old featured in just three games and made scores of 9, 10 and 8.
