“I am targeting the Australia series if all goes well”

India batsman Rohit Sharma has been on the road to recovery ever since he underwent thigh surgery in London in November, but when will the 29-year-old make his long-awaited comeback?

It is understood that Rohit is close to being fully fit and if he has no setbacks, he revealed that he is looking to return for the four-Test series against Australia in February.

“Guys thank you for all your concern I’m not fit yet but I am targeting the Australia series if all goes well. Thank you for the love,” he tweeted.

Rohit suffered the injury in the fifth and final ODI against New Zealand in Visakhapatnam last October while running between the wickets.
