The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the dates for India’s home series against New Zealand in September-October.

The series will consist of three Tests and five ODIs and will begin in Kanpur, which will host the first Test on September 22.

The second Test will be played in Kolkata from September 30, while the final Test, which begins on October 8, will be held in Indore, which recently became a new Test venue.

Meanwhile, the ODI series will begin on October 16 in Dharamsala before both teams travel to Delhi for the second ODI on October 19. The final three ODIs will be held in Mohali, Ranchi and Visakhapatnam on October 23, 26 and 29 respectively.

The last time New Zealand toured India was for a two-Test series and two-match Twenty20 series in 2012. India whitewashed New Zealand 2-0 in the Test series, but the Black Caps won the Twenty20 series 1-0.
