The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced that they are keen to hold their ‘home’ series in India instead of the United Arab Emirates.

The board added that holding all their ‘home’ series in India will be a lot more cost-effective as well.

The PCB’s comments come after they managed to convince Zimbabwe to become the first team to tour Pakistan since the Sri Lankan national team were ambushed by armed militants in March 2009.

“We would like to make India our home. India will be more cost-effective,” PCB chairman Shahryar Khan told the Hindustan Times.

However, if Pakistan are not allowed to play in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have already offered to host a few of their ‘home’ series.
