Chanderpaul struck five boundaries during his unbeaten knock of 63

Veteran West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored an unbeaten 63 to help his side extend their lead to 427 at the end of the third day of the second Test against Bangladesh in St Lucia.
However, Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah deserves some credit as he hit a valiant half-century and took two wickets.
Starting out the day on 104/7, Mahmudullah and Shafiul Islam converted their 15-run partnership into a 45-run partnership before Islam was caught behind off the bowling of Shannon Gabriel for 10 runs.
Mahmudullah ended up making 53 off 100 balls, which included two boundaries and a six, before he was also caught behind, but only off the bowling of Sulieman Benn.

Bangladesh were bowled out for a dismal 161, which gave the West Indies a 219-run lead, when Robiul Islam was given out lbw off the bowling of Benn for a duck.
Islam reviewed the decision immediately, but replays showed that the ball was crashing straight into middle stump, which led to the third umpire upholding the original decision.
Kemar Roach was the pick of the bowlers with his five-wicket haul, while Benn and Jerome Taylor snapped up two wickets apiece and Gabriel chipped in with one.
With a 219-run lead in hand, the West Indies got off to a superb start as their opening pair of Kraigg Brathwaite and debutant Leon Johnson amassed a 76-run partnership before Johnson was clean bowled by Taijul Islam for 41.
Kirk Edwards only made two runs before he was caught by Shamsur Rahman at gully off the bowling of Shafiul Islam.
Darren Bravo fared no better as he was cleaned up by Mahmudullah for seven runs.
Brathwaite went on to score 45 runs before he was caught by Rahman at first slip off the bowling of Mahmudullah.
Chanderpaul and Jermaine Blackwood stabilised the innings with an unbeaten 108-run partnership, during which Chanderpaul brought up his half-century, before stumps was called.
Chanderpaul finished on 63 off 98 balls, which included five boundaries, while Blackwood remained undefeated on 43 off 96 deliveries, which included one boundary and a six.
Mahmudullah was the most successful bowler with two wickets, while Taijul Islam and Shafiul Islam claimed one wicket each.
The West Indies ended day three on 208/4 and will continue batting tomorrow at 10:00 local time or 14:00 GMT.
