“It’s hard to understand”

Legendary India batsman Rahul Dravid has announced that the national team’s crushing defeat against England at Old Trafford was just “bizarre”. 

Dravid’s comments come after India lost nine wickets in one session, which was largely thanks to England spinner Moeen Ali, who claimed four victims. 

“It(nine wickets in a session) is almost bizarre,” Dravid told ESPNcricinfo. “It’s hard to understand. India kept losing wickets.

“It was always going to be difficult for India once they were 215 runs behind but the fact that they lost nine wickets in a session, when the pitch was not seaming and there was no vicious turn, showed tentative cricket. Everything went well for England.”
