Kartik was sold to Bangalore for US$400,000

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have acquired former India spinner Murali Kartik from the Pune Warriors after they recently released him from their roster.

Kartik had represented the Kolkata Knight Riders for the first three seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL) before being signed by the Warriors for the fourth edition of the tournament.

According to IPL sources, Kartik was sold to Bangalore for his previous base price of US$400,000.

Kartik represented India in eight Test matches, taking 24 wickets at an average of 34.16 and 37 ODIs, where he snapped up 37 wickets at an average of 43.56.
