Trott sees this series as make or break for England

England batsman Jonathan Trott believes that the harmony within the dressing room could all but disappear if the national team put up a poor performance in the last two Test matches against India.

Trott is also concerned that there may be a resurgence of bad blood between his team-mates, especially about the controversy surrounding South African-born batsman Kevin Pietersen over the summer.

However, Trott believes that as of right now there is nothing to worry about since England are tied 1-1 with India and he added that the spirit in the dressing room could in fact be elevated to a new level if the national team manage to pull off a series victory against India for the first time after 27 years.

The Telegraph quoted Trott as saying: “When the pressure’s on and the chips are down, that’s when the cracks are tested, if they widen then it becomes more obvious with regards to performance and team dynamics. When the pressure’s on that’s when it happens and we’ve got to make sure we have all our ducks in a row and we’re ready for that. But I think we’re on the right track.”
