The Test Match Special team will be broadcasting live from the stadium

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) have settled their dispute with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which means that their Test Match Special broadcast will be live from the grounds during the upcoming Test series between India and England.

The BCCI recently asked the BBC to pay an extra £50,000 in order for the Test Match Special team to have access to the facilities in the grounds, but no confirmation has been made on whether the additional sum was paid.

A BBC spokesman said: “We are pleased to confirm that Test Match Special will broadcast England’s cricket tour of India from the grounds after agreement was reached with all parties.”

The BBC may have sorted out its issues with the BCCI, but Sky Sports recently announced that they will not be sending their expert panel of cricket pundits to cover the series due to the extra £500,000 they were demanded to pay.

As of right now, both the BBC and Sky TV have sub-licencee agreements with Star TV for use of their footage throughout the series.
