Malinga will be a key bowler for Sri Lanka in the ODI and Twenty20 matches

Sri Lanka pace bowler Lasith Malinga has been included in the nations’ ODI and Twenty20 team for the upcoming home series against Pakistan.

Malinga, who only plays the shorter formats of the game, has also been included in the highest category of national players with a central contract.

Pakistan’s tour of Sri Lanka will start in two days, with a Twenty20 International being played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota.

The series includes two Twenty20 Internationals, five ODIs and three Test matches.
